Chuck Connors and Johnny Crawford

The Rifleman TV show starred Chuck Connors was set in the town of North Fork, New Mexico during the days of the Old West. Chuck Connors as widower Lucas McCain was trying to make a living off his ranch along with his young son Mark. The title of the show came from the fact that Lucas has a specially adapted Winchester that could fire off a round in three tenths of a second.
Lucas found himself regularly called upon by the town Marshall to help keep the streets of North Fork safe.
